Nitto Terra Grapplers - Additional Rubber

Does anyone know how much more (it's probably a fraction of an inch) the NTG tire gives you over the stock Forteras. I know it's not a lot, but when I look at these pics of the stock size NTG its looks so much beefier.

not sure, but I can confirm that they are slightly larger than the stock forteras. Not to mention there's a noticeable increase in rolling resistance which is my only dissatisfaction, however, it's a given going with an AT tire.

You need to compare manufacturer's specs for tread depth, or measure with a depth gauge on the actual tires.

I realize that, but wasn't sure if those were exact. I'm looking at the link I put in my first post an the Nittos look so much thicker. Kinda a dumb question, but I wonder if those measurements take into account the aggressive thread on top.
