Noisy Rear Shocks finally fixed... maybe

TSB 17-002-14 http://www.wk2jeeps.com/tsb/tsb_wk2_1700214.pdf came out on 1 July 2014 with what is supposedly the proper fix for the clunking noise that has so frustrated so many Jeep owners with self leveling rear shocks. Note, this does not apply to Quadra-lift suspensions. Those that have had the fix done, please let us know if it was successful.

I took mine in, dealer said parts are on national back order. I've been waiting since the first week of July- so about a month now.

Re: Noisy Rear Shocks finally fixed... maybe

Hi guys,
I had the new rear upper shock mounts installed on my 2014 yesterday. They also replaced the shocks (2nd time) at the same time. It is riding nice again but only time will tell if the new mounts really fixed the problem. The ride was so bad before that even on the highway at 70 mph plus the rear end would kick out over bumps in the road. I'm not sure if it was a combination of bad shocks and bad mounts or just the mounts. Hopefully it is fixed now.
