Ahhh shoot I had this information but I cant recall exact weights. I had a set of OEM new takeoff black chrome goliath wheels with the all season Scorpion Verde tires. Here is the problem with the SRT wheels and tires....they are EXTREMELY heavy!! So much so that I wont even run them on a non-SRT Grand Cherokee, especially the V6. They look great, but you will feel the extra weight on everyday driving as well as at the pump. If neither of those things matter than by all means go for it. The weight differences between the Goliath and Spider monkey wheels would be minimal to none.
I could be wrong, but for some reason the number 80lbs per wheel/tire combo comes to mind as sounding familiar. I have shipped them before so I did have exact weights of each wheel/tire combo and I think that was it. Maybe 78lbs to be exact!! Lets just say that the stock Overland wheels and tires feel like feathers compared. I always wondered how much more nimble and quick the SRT could be if they had a set of light weight wheels on that thing.
As a SRT owner, I absolutely agree these are heavy wheels/tires. I have the spider monkeys. Some of the added weight is from the run-flat Pirellis, which weigh 43lbs a piece. Next time I take off a wheel I should weigh the combo to figure out the wheel weight. Although, they are forged wheels, not cast, which are stronger and should be lighter. Not quite the case here. I am very interested in trying to get my hands on a set of the new 2016 lightweight wheels on the SRT Night Edition.
