your tire will be all over the control arm bolt with stock wheels and no spacer

I like the stock Altitude wheels and stayed with them. I went with Bora spacers, they make them in to order sizing allowing you to work out what gets you to the magic offset. I have had no issues with spacers.

I also have Bora 1.25 all around spacers and will put 285/50/20 tires soon on OEM 20"

Re: Offset - Backspace - ideal fitment - Calculation chart

Hi everyone, i posted this on the winter tire summary but this might be a better place. I got a 2014 WK2 Overland, with the diesel a couple months ago and have a set of 20X9 SRT reps with 275-40-20 Blizaks (28.6") from my old SRT8. I talked with a tire store today, and they advised not to run them as they are almost 6% smaller and could badly affect ride quality. Anyone else think that they will be too small and affect the ride quality badly?

No, you are fine.... But
They want to sell younew ones. As long as all 4 are the samesize (and preferably within 3/32nds of each other treadwear wise) you are good to go.

That being said, yes they are too small. Gearing will be off, ride qualitywill suffer, may look funny, and you have less tire to protect your wheels. Personally Iwould try to sell tthe tires and get a better size, that's up to you.

Re: Offset - Backspace - ideal fitment - Calculation chart

wk2project, I have a 2015 limited with the stock 18" rims. I'd like to change out the look, keeping the rim diameter the same and from what I can tell looking on line, may have to go to a 9" width rim.

Are the stock rims hub centric or just center off the 5 lugs? I will keep the same size tires. With that said, what would you recommend the offset be limited to? Stock is 54mm.

Re: Offset - Backspace - ideal fitment - Calculation chart

I went with 275/60/20 ko2's on the factory rim with BORA 1.5" spacers for a +18 offset and a 2.5" lift.

Offset - Backspace - ideal fitment - Calculation chart

Based on the chart these should fit with Bilstein 5100s/leveled on 20x8.5, 30 offset......

Nitto Terra Grap G2

305/50R20 120S XL21527013.932.0512.448.5-(9.5)-11.03086@50
So it's 32.05 diameter.

What do you guys think?

Re: Offset - Backspace - ideal fitment - Calculation chart

I'd imagine you can use the tire calculator from rims n tires and put Wk2projects setup in as the original and yours after. It should tell you if it'll fit, or at least tell you if you're moving in the right direction.

He has a +30 offset but if you look at his pics his tire sticks out as far as a skinnier tire on less + offset because his tires are so wide.

Im running the 305/55-20 ridge grappler on the same wheel. however, mines with 3.75" lift at current.

The 305 nittos are effing huge! although listed as a 33x12.50 they are SIGNIFICANTLY bigger than my 33x12.50-20 Atturos were. they are .6" taller and gobs wider. I am literally just 2mm off my UCA bolt now with this wheel/tire combo. The rear is so wide that I had to trim out part of the felt towards the front of the rear fenderwell of both sides.

granted, you are doing a 50 series so its not as tall. it also may not be as wide in the terra grappler line, I simply dont know. But I think, with just the bilsteins leveled it may be too much tire.
