Offset question

Offset numbers mean nothing to me.... so is there much difference between a 45 vs 50 offset? What is the difference between the two? I'm looking at the srt reps and one place has the wheel offset at 45 the other place has the very same wheel but at a 50 offset. There to go on a 2012 Overland... 20x10....

Re: Offset question

factory reproductions has the original best fitting reps IMHO. Ive had 3-4 sets personally and never had a single problem. Stick with them

Re: Offset question

I would like to find some replacement wheels for my still not made 15 CRD Overland. Has any body used 17" rims. im looking for something with a little bit of a lip, old school but thats what I like. i dont want them to stick out past the fenders too much either.

I believe the diesel comes with HD brakes. 18" wheel minimum. 17's won't fit over the calipers.

Re: Offset question

Thanks, didnt think about the HD brakes, now if I could just find a wheel I like with that much positive offset. i hate the "flat faced" wheels that come with it, but dont want them to stick out too far either.
