Opinions on wheel color

Edit*** my powder coater told me apparently chrome is very hard to strip and powder coat in a cost effective manner with a good result on the finish.

Another powder coater told me the they could do it and have had great results.

Had anyone had luck with powder coating previously chromed wheels?

---------------

I would like your honest opinion on whether to powder coat a set of OEM chrome Goliaths and if so what color? Or leave them chrome. They will be used as my winter set up on a black 15 SRT Black. My summer set up is the same style wheel but black chrome.

I was thinking of gloss black but the wheels seem to get lost in the whole blacked out theme.

Below are stock wheels and sample powder coated colors. Please let me know your thoughts.

Good call on the polished. Black wheels (in my opinion) look like crap on the Jeep (and most other vehicles). I'm ready for that fad to go away.

Yeah I was close to getting black, but read a post somewhere that Chrome on black is always a classy look . Thanks for the compliments

Re: Opinions on wheel color

There are some folks who like the blacked out look and others...me included...that don't prefer it. There is no wrong answer! I like what you chose.
