Looking at getting the OL with ORA2.

Is there ride quality sacrificed with the 18" wheels for normal highway/street driving? MOst of the driving will be highway driving distances.

Like the looks of the 20" wheels but want the ORA2 package.

I find no problems at all with the 18" wheels on my Overland with ORA II, but I got rid if the Latitudes right away.

You might notice that the ride is BETTER on the 18 inch wheels than on the 20s.

The Michelin Latitudes suck a bit less than the 20 tires, but a set of Michelin MS/2 or Conti CrossContacts, or Pirelli Scorpion ATR at first chance would all improve the ride.

The MS/2 is truly hard to beat for driving feel, ride quality, noise, and more important--traction, tread life, and mild winter traction.

I have the OL with ORAII option and changed the 18s for 20s. I drove about 500 miles on the 18s and it rides fine. I changed to 20s because I like the look...I drove about 1700 miles (most highway and some trail/hill unimproved roads) this week on the 20s with no real noticeable difference in ride quality.

I think the Latitudes suck more than Forteras -- much more. They rank down there next to Continental Conti-craps for truck/SUV tires I've driven on. They will ride better than the 20s, but traction is horrible if it's not dry pavement. Wear is also horrible, but you'll be glad, because that will warrant early replacement. Just because it say "Michelin" on the sidewall, doesn't mean they are "wonderful".
