Ordering Different Tires

Has anyone ordered their GC with different tires or is this even possible?

Want the Goodyear Wrangler All Terran Adventure w/ Kevlar (275/55/20) instead of the Forteras.

I'd like to think this would be possible when ordering the vehicle but.....

Re: Ordering Different Tires

You cannot "order" a JGC with "different tires"...it will come from the factory with either the Forteras or the Lattitudes, depending on whether or not it has 20" or 18" wheels respectively. You can, however, try to work out a deal with your dealer to swap on receipt if they sell the brand and model tire you want or do a trade-in deal somewhere else. In either case, you will not realize the entire original value of the OEM tires, but should be able to recover a good chunk of the cost given they are new with only a few miles on them from the factory.

Can anyone explain what the off Road implications are if you go to a 275/55/20 AT tire. I know most r saying they don't rub in normal driving, but what happens on the beach or moderate trail if there is some bounce - thanks in advance for any experience u want to share.
