Over extended a cv joint

Was doing some suspension work today and must have over extended the inner joint on the driver side cv axle. Anyone have this happen to them, and what was the fix?

A quick google search turns up lots of info on fixing it on other makes but nothing on a wk2.

Re: Over extended a cv joint

I'll assume you got this fixed, but when I installed my RRO leveling kit (2012 Limited) the axle slipped out of the joint on the center unit. I played around with it, lifting and gently turning the hub and it slipped back into place. Luckily I didn't tear the boot so I called it good and haven't had a problem since.
