Overland with off road package ii

Need comparisons on how grand Cherokee Overland rides with Quadra Drive ii 18 inch off road package ii vs. lower models ie limited, laredo. Do you feel the road more as the Laredo feels too cushy and not like the real grand Cherokees with solid axles. Hoping for a more enjoyable more jeep like road and off road feeling ride with overland and off road package ii, thanks!

Re: Overland with off road package ii

Not much difference on the road, QD will seem to hold the road better but will also seem to soak up small bumps. Both are far from the solid live axle feel.

If you raise the QD to OR II it is very very stiff, OR I is just stiff.

The quadra lift air suspension on the overland is soft, some say softer than the coils on the limited's and laredo's. It is decently damped, and does not roll too much, but does have that riding on a cloud feeling sometimes.

Re: Overland with off road package ii

my laredo w/QL rides better than my wifes limited spring ride. But thats not to say that the spring version rides worse. I think QL is a little softer, springs seems a little more tight in steering and cornering.
