Re: Plasti-dipped the stock 20`s

Was looking into plasti-dipping my wheels but there is a big drawback... here in Australia a single can of plasti dip sells for US$35

6 cans x $35 > $200 = way too much! We get screwed over like this all the time

same here in mexico 33 for each can. I rather have them painted for a little more in a shop.

What about buying online and having it shipped to the island? They sell it on Ebay..

what benifits does the plasti offer. Just an alternative to powder coating? What if it was used on fenders for trail rig?

try it out... its good stuff, it protects really well and can be removed anytime. also the stuff is cheap! if you plan on taping off a section make sure you peel away the tape BEFORE the stuff dries, while its still wet... otherwise you'll have to redo it.

in another forum there is a guy who actually plasti-dipped his WHOLE CAR... it was an Audi A4, came out pretty nice.

I am looking to get the tires onto the car tomorrow morning.

I will be sure to post pics!

On a side note, Gorilla's "The System" is one nice set of lug nuts! I got the black 14mm / 1.5's Should look nice with the rims.
