Still drying and not on the car yet... Also waiting on a set of locking black lugs :)

I'm not too worried about durability at this time. I was more focused on a combination of cheap, easy to apply, easy to remove if I don't like it, and no destructive prep work...

I won't be using these for offroading, for that I will be using the Sahara 18s that I bedlined....

nice those rims will look great black...

i have my stock wk rims plastidipped as winter wheels and the road salt doesn't really affect it, it shows up worse on them (i think more because they are a matte black and have a semi rough texture so salt sticks to them a bit more) but still washes off and they're safe for car washes, I've taken mine through a million times and it doesn't peal off or anything

The fact that many of you are backing its durability is a good sign!

The locking black gorilla lug nuts should be arriving tomorrow, but I won't have a chance to install them until Saturday.

For those of you that have done it, when you take your car in for service are you worried about them using impact wrenches and messing up the plasti dip around the lug nuts??? Cause I am a bit...

This stuff is pretty durable i recently had new tires put on the rims i plastidipped and the paint held up, a few parts of it pealed just because of my bad taping and i painted the tpms sensor so when the paint was ripped when they removed it, but the best part is that even if a little scrapes off its cheap enough to buy a can of it and do some touch ups

try it out... its good stuff, it protects really well and can be removed anytime. also the stuff is cheap! if you plan on taping off a section make sure you peel away the tape BEFORE the stuff dries, while its still wet... otherwise you'll have to redo it.

in another forum there is a guy who actually plasti-dipped his WHOLE CAR... it was an Audi A4, came out pretty nice.
