Properly lowering a WK2 involves...

Not trying to slam it, rather I'd like a more somewhat flatter stance. Maybe 1" up front and 2" in the rear. That being said I'm looking at the Eibach springs. I ran springs on my SRT8 and regretted it due to the harsh ride. I think one of the contributing factors to.that was the low profile Vreds. Thankfully the diameter of the tires has grown. Are there any dampers available or are they even needed? Wasn't sure if springs would blow.out the stock. Shocks/struts. And is the 2012 SRT8 suspension more than different springs/struts vs a regular GC?

No dampers available unless you go the full coilover route (not even sure if those are available, though). Conventional wisdom says the shocks will wear quicker, but the eibach drop is so conservative it probably won't make much of a difference.

Members (I know of 2) who run the springs report a similar ride to stock.

Re: Properly lowering a WK2 involves...

What about lowering on these when they have the quadralift system... does it change antyhing meaning would the system even know it was lowered?

Not trying to hijack the thread but wasn't sure if you also have this system.

Thanks,
Bryan

Re: Properly lowering a WK2 involves...

The Eibach springs are not supported on QL suspensions.

How are the Heat Durangos lowered? I was curious if the parts were interchangeable.
