Anyone receive their new rig with Quadra Lift yet? If not, I hope someone posts their thoughts immediately after delivery.

And pics of the different ride heights as well.

Does anyone know if QL is standard on Overlands for Canada? The one I was in about a month ago did not have it obviously, will the price go up accordingly now as well?

It's my impression is that Overlands currently on dealers' lots (ordered pre-mid July) do not have Quadra-Lift.

I'm from Canada and my Overland is coming standard with QL, it was just in the beginning that it was a late availability item. There will obviously be some price adjustment. I think somewhere near $700 CAD.

Every single Overland I've built, no matter what country, has had Quadra-Lift.

.... ever since Quadra-Lift was available.

Just checked my dealer and there is an OL in transit, that matches my specs WITH QL!!!!

I've got an email to the salesman to see if it's called for. We'll see!

Marlon you'd put that at early august late July or rather much earlier was the availability date I believe.

Ahem, also, let me correct my post... Overland 4x4s, have all had Quadra-Lift as long as I have been building them.... or rather at least been on shock duty. The shocks are different.

Apparently the Overlands with Quadralift have been delayed to ship because there was a problem with some hose that needed to be repaired by the factory and will be completed by 9/10 and then they will be shipped to the dealers.
This is a message from Jeep Corporate to the dealers:

"Area dealers,

I. We are working to get inventory to your dealerships ASAP. Here are a few updates as of this morning:

* Suspect Hose issue should be resolved by COB Friday at most plants.

* Suspect hose issue for LX's, Challenger, Journey, Sebring, and Avenger,
to be resolved by next Friday.

* 2 new holds of 2,000 a piece....
WK - as of production 9/2 - no eta
JK - as of production 9/5 - no eta

Remember...we began with 30,000 Holds - will be down to under 5000 shortly.

JS vehicles will KZ shortly. In-transit time will take a few days longer than normal
as there will be a bottle neck in Toledo / Michigan, and local rails. We will do our
best to expedite.

II. If you want to see a detailed status of your vehicles, in Dealer Connect > Sales Tab > VOIM > under additional Tools > VinVision.

* A new window will pop up.
* Under Multiple Vehicle Trace, Search By, click on Active VINs.
* Then click on the blue search button
* A list of VINs will show up, you can click on the 18 digit VIN to get details on the vehicles locaton.

If you need me to "Hot Tag" any vehicle, just send me an email with the last eight of the VIN. The vehicle much be in KZ status.

Good selling!
Jason Moore"

Thanks Fortilais I posted this info under the customer status build section as well for all members who have had cars built and sitting for weeks now with no clue why.

The hose apparently had nothing to do with the Quadra Lift system but it put a hold on the already built Grand Cherokees until they were all inspected and diagnosed as ok. I live in Northern VA so hopefully I'll get my Jeep Overland 5.7L sometime next week and will let you know if it in fact came with the Quadralift & Quadra Drive II. I have attached the Build Code status sheet to translate the statuses.

I dont see anything attached and or posted however I believe we have the statuses posted somewhere on the site.. Have you had anyone check into the build sheet for your vehicle, for example is it built? If so the dealer has access to a complete build sheet, shows every option on your vehicle.. Also if it was built anytime from like late July and on ward it should have Quadra-Lift and if it is a V8 as you mentioned Quadra Drive II is prepackaged in there to make it 1995.

Lastly if you become a Jeep Garage supporter level 2 or 3 (10 or 20 bucks) theres a special forum you'll gain access to where Milous (a member) tracks the vehicles in a thread for us and a couple of times a day he updates what has changed via status codes and on the railcar when it gets there.. This is in addition to all the other benefits of becoming a supporter.

Link to explain more about tracking.

Yes my Gr Ch Overland 5.7L was finished on 8/18 and has been in "JS" status since then which means is was shipped to storage. It will then go to "KZ - released by plant , invoiced", then it will go to "KZL - released - not shipped". Then it will be shipped to the dealer.

In reply to J13ntv, the early Overlands that were built did not have Quadra Lift or Quadra Drive II. I have personally seen 4 early Overlands with the 5.7L that did not have Quadra Lift and only had Quadra-Trac II, not the Quadra Drive II.

Yeah, but he hasn't been working there (on that part of the line, at least) since production start. There were some very early production Overlands without Quadra-Lift. From this point on, every Overland has it- the order cutoff was sometime in June, and QL went into production early August. Unless it was ordered before early June and built before late July (there's not many of those), every Overland 4x4 has Quadra-Lift.

Now that all Overlands are being built with Quadra-Lift, are we any closer to having the air suspension released for Limited models (via the Off Road Adventure II group)? Today the Jeep build sites on the web are still only allowing builds with the ORAG I, and my dealer says he can do no better on his system.
Anyone have news, or even rumours?
