Did you ever determine the cause of your QL problem? It appears I'm having the same problem with my 2011 WK2.

Yes, my MY12 will dip a bit up front over night, particularly when it's extremely cold at night. It doesn't noticeably do it during hot weather. It's not a major issue according to the QL specialist in my dealer service department so I don't worry about it.

What most of you aren't factoring in is your weight. If you were driving the vehicle with yourself and perhaps a passenger in the front seat, you've put more weight towards the front and the system has compensated for that while in use. When you get out after parking, the front will actually be anywhere from 0.25 to 1" too high as the front air spring pressure has been compensated for your weight. The system will then re-adjust while parked. This is what is meant in the owner's manual about it adjusting for "proper appearance."

It isn't going to just adjust the front -- but if you tend to drive alone or with only a front-seat passenger the most commonly noticeable adjustment will be to the front. The rear may also adjust slightly but it won't be as noticeable. If you heavily load down the rear, then remove that rear weight after parking, you'll be able to notice a more pronounced rear adjustment as well.
I am glad someone had already talked about this. I just picked up my wk2 today (first GC with quadralift) and a couple times after I had parked in the garage I heard the compressor kick on. It caught me by surprise and had me a little worried. Now that I know what it is doing, it makes sense and I am glad someone commented about. Thanks!

Re: Quadra Lift, front end lowers when parked

Back the vehicle into the garage one night and see if the front still lowers. If it does, it's not due to an incline.

I don't think this is normal. Never happened to me. When these systems fail its big $$$$$! Glad I purchased my Factory Lifetime warranty.
