Quadra Lift OR1 OR2 speed restrictions

Just bought a 2017 Trailhawk and love it so far.

The quadralift air suspension off-road 1 position (OR1) is only good below 38 mph, any faster and it drops to NRH.

Similarly, off-road 2 position (OR2) only works below 20 mph.

Is there a way to remove or modify these settings? Some logging roads I ride my speed may exceed 38 mph but I'd like to stay on OR1 position is possible.

I don't want to change the air bag position links because I like the lower entry/exit mode at my age.

There's no "native" way to change that...it's there for safety as well as to help you not need new kidneys when the suspension hits the stops over bumps. ;)

That said, LLAMS or modified sensor links can give you a "new normal" that's a little higher if you prefer that. But you'll still want to be careful with your speed if things are not very smooth.

I occasionally drive on some county highways in Oregon that are "gravel". I use the term gravel loosely because it's actually large chunks of graded rock about 2 inches long by an inch in diameter, on average.

They're easy to drive 45MPH safely because they're well maintained and smooth. The large rock they use holds well without too much sliding around corners. It also doesn't get thrown around.

Aside from wearing down tread on weak tires very quickly, it's generally a good road surface. On that surface, I have no problem with the air ride lowering and I actually find it desirable for better stability in corners.

For the driving I've done, I find the speed at which they force lower ride heights to be logical and sensible for this vehicle.

Remember, this isn't a long wheel base pickup with good stability. This is a rolly SUV. Get it too high while catching an edge in a corner and you're going over. Plenty of youtube videos available to demonstrate.
