Quadra-Trac II vs Quadra-Drive II

What does the 2015 High Altitude (Overland) V8 come standard with? I just got a '15 High Altitude and I'm curious.

I'm coming from a '14 Overland V6.

Are they both the same?

The main difference is QDII comes with a limited slip rear differential. The standard is QTII.

Does the V8 come with QDII?

QDII is standard on v8 and diesel summit. It is an option on V8 and diesel overland. QDII is not available on any v6. V8/diesel High altitude does not get QDII it gets QTII.

Re: Quadra-Trac II vs Quadra-Drive II

I have a 2015 HA with 20 inch wheels and QD2 was not even an option even though I got the V8.

Had I gotten the 18 inch wheels (not even sure you can with HA package?) then QD2 becomes an option that you can select.

Edit: To be clear, V8+18inch wheels unlocks the option for QD2.

I just got a High Altitude too. Absolutely loving it.

Re: Quadra-Trac II vs Quadra-Drive II

looks like ORA2 is the key to get QD2 on an overland, which means 18" wheels as well (conversely, 18" wheels requires ORA2).. and, among other things, there isn't an HA-style 18" wheel..

Re: Quadra-Trac II vs Quadra-Drive II

I have QD on my overland and honestly if you don't have it you aren't missing much. I mean the traction control on this vehicle is so intrusive you can barely leverage wheel spin of any kind. Doesn't matter what mode you are in .... trying to use oversteer to your advantage is useless. It either kills power and leaves you fearing for your life in the center of an intersection or it applies so much TC that it sounds like you are in an armored vehicle getting sprayed with machine gun fire.
