Quadralift 2015 tire upgrade 275/55/r20 with 0.5 or 1 inch spacer?

Wondering if the tightness and the occasional rubbing report by some members running 275/55/r20 could be cured by adding a 1" or .5" spacer. I am new to all this and want to upgrade my tires on my new 2015 overland but keep stock rims. I have literally read every post on here and am a little overwhelmed, being a first time jeep owner. I am also considering 285/50/r20 but have seen how close they come to the control arm bolt, and considering a small spacer but don't want the wheels sticking to far out. Please only comment on experience upgrading tires on quadralift vehicles, just to keep things clean and remove any doubts cause by the ql setup vs standard suspension. Thank you all for your time and help. Any and all experience and wisdom are welcome, as I am eager to learn from the more experienced folks on here. My best friend has a lifted rubicon, I want to be able to go to some remote campsites with him on trails **even if I will never be able to do the advanced trails he can do** I do want a setup that beneficial for offroad usage. Without spending a ton on a whole new wheel and tire configuration.

Checkout llmas lift for the quadralift. I have one of the first prototypes, but don't know current production situation. It works great and can give you just that little extra room and still function normally with the default QL settings. It just fakes out the computer and makes it think the vehicle is sitting lower than it is, so it compensates and gives you dial-in "lift". He is out of Australia and a great guy.

Hi,
I just installed the BFG KO2's (275/22-R20) two days ago. I have a Summit with the stock 20" wheels and I have not experienced any rubbing yet. I have heard that some people experience slight rubbing in park mode when you go full lock to the left or right. I have not tried park mode yet to see if I have rubbing. I really like the look of the tire. The increase in noise was very minimal. The tires are quite a bit heavier than the stock GYs but they feel much more stable and I have the Hemi so it is not really a factor for me. I spent a lot of time looking into what tire I was going to buy. I considered Nokian, a couple Goodyear tires, Nitto, really just about everything. I really wanted a good all around tire that was good in snow and ice and would be able to get me through the occasional trail and looked aggressive.

The KO2s fit what I wanted perfectly. They look great on the wheel and now my jeep actually looks like a 4WD! I think that for an AT tire it would be very hard to beat the KO2s.

I also was able to get them at a very good price. I got them online and paid around $840.00 including shipping and tax for a set of 4.

Great info, I am leaning toward the nitto G2, because they are lighter and I rarely see snow since I am in southern california. Also trying to find out the weight on goodyear duratech, which model Nokia did you look at?
