Re: Question re choosing tires (Overland)

Has anyone tried BF Groodrich All Terrain T/A KO tires in the Overland with Off Road Adventure Group II? If so, which size will fit best and will a BFG full size spare fit in the cramped spare tire well? This tire issue is a make or break deal with me.

Re: Question re choosing tires (Overland)

You can fit up to a 32" tire. Some have been running 275 65 18. I've seen someone on this forum w/ the BFG ATs. Not positive what size he is running. I have 255 70 18 Bridgestone Dueler AT (the stock tire for the JK Sahara) (same tire diameter as 275 65 18) and I was able to fit it in the spare tire well. You have to take out the plastic cubbies around the stock spare wheel though.

Thanks, Jay. With your spare in the spare tire well, does the cover fit flush with the cargo floor? Are there any rubbing problems with the steering wheel hard over?
