Questions for anyone that has lifted a WK2

Ok, so after 3 sets of bad rear shocks and the front struts going bad (at 13k miles) I said screw this and put in a eibach leveling kit (2" lift front .5" rear) Everything went smooth as could be. the ride is amazing compared to stock.

BUT i have a nasty shake above 58mph it doesn't shake the steering wheel, it shakes the whole car, so i have zero idea where to start..

Just got it back from a local place, they did a 4 wheel alignment and balanced the tires. I havn't been able to drive it fast yet.. but they said the issue is still there.

So for anyone that has done a kit did you have to deal with this? And the manufacturer of the kit doesn't matter, as far as drive line angles go a lift is a lift.

P.S. the tire/alignment shop is saying its a drive line angle issue, but i can't see 2" making that much difference, the stock suspension can rise/fall that much..

Just looking for ideas, thanks guys...

Did you do the lift yourself? I would suspect something is not tight/torqued to specs after fitting. Driveline angle is certainly plausible, as the model in Offroad 2 mode does go as high, but never exceeds 30mph. Honestly I would look back to the installation of the kit - its the only thing that has changed. I am also curios to know, as I inches away from purchasing the same kit for myself.

Actually the alignment/balance fixed that shake totally.. the guys at the shop "belle tire" that were doing the alignment seemed to not understand the issue i was having..

So.. as for the kit.. awesome.. Eibach, AWESOME.. i called them like 4 times with silly questions and everytime i got an american.. in america and they knew what they were talking about.. everytime. Just great people to deal with in every way...

So.. heres the bad... the asshat at Belle Tire beat my jeep so hard that the trans is hosed.. slipping bad in second.. like on/off/on/off.. i'm so pissed.. and i know how hard he was beating it.. my AVG milage went from 18.3 to 17.4, i have never once reset my avg milage and to move it a full mpg it would take some serious beating.. so.. another trip to the dealer.. so happy... GRRRRR...

As for the eibach kit.. the ride is sooo amazingly better i can't really describe it..

I have had the eibach kit installed on my wk2 for 10,000 miles. No vibrations at any speeds. Actually the kit has performed perfectly without incident. The Jeep dealer installed mine.

WOW, the dealer installed your lift? If you don't mind me asking:
-what did they charge for this service
-what did that do to your warranty (I assume the warranty stayed intact since the dealer installed the kit and the components themselves should be warrantied through Eibach)

Thanks
