Re: Rear Lift

Picked up the jeep from the dealership for a little warranty work yesterday. They say it is a bad abs sensor and they had to order it. Take it back Friday to get fixed

Re: Rear Lift

Sub'd great thread. I joined to ask about how to lift the rear of my WK2 in conjunction with the RRO leveling kit and this thread is a huge help.

Re: Rear Lift

I'm about to do the RRO leveling kit and will like to add the JK 0.5" spacers. They will work with the leveling shocks, correct?

I tow a wakeboarding boat with the Jeep and if I put the leveling kit on alone, I'm afraid I will get rear end sag while towing the boat.

With just the leveling kit i felt my jeep sagged empty. I personally cant say if it will work with the load leveling shocks.

Is this with your 3/4 spacer in still ?
Because this looks like its raked but the other close-up pic you have in this thread it looks perfectly level .

Did you ever do measurements paying attention to how full your gas tank was ?

I have the level kit only which the rear sits 1/2" higher with 1/4 tank or less and a 1/4 higher with over half tank of gas

Thanks

Sorry for the delay! But here's the pic you requested. I didn't notice a change in ride quality after the rear spacers.

1) do you have the level kit in w/ your pic ?

2) did you ever do measurements before and after install of the rear spacers ?

3)measurements done paying attention to how full your gas tank was ?

I have the level kit only which the rear sits 1/2" higher with 1/4 tank or less and a 1/4 higher with over half tank of gas

Re: Rear Lift

Hey,
Yes, the leveling kit was installed in that picture. I'm sorry but I don't have measurements before and after the rear spacer install. But I do know the front of my Jeep was slightly higher in the front and that's not the look I was going for. Kudos to you for the rear of your Jeep sitting slightly higher without them. If it ever settles, you know what to do. Good luck and congrats!
