Re: Recommend Brakes For My Ride Please

Sure, as long as you buy the appropriate bracket and caliper that goes with the rear vented HD brakes... Otherwise no you can not simply bolt on a vented rotor and call it done.. The upgrade is really just two bolts more than a pad swap, pretty cool.

For direct replacement brake parts I like premium products which there are plenty of opinions on..
But for me I like DBA rotors and certain very aggressive pads, I can do a brake job very easily, brake dust bothers me less than trade offs, and I consider a repeatable extra foot worth every cent and more. I live in South Florida wher people consider bumpers part of the cars braking system.

Im going to be replacing my rotors and pads soon on my 2011 JC without HD brakes (330mm front and rear) Im going with the NAPA OEM replacement rotors but i want some aggressive pads since i do some heavy braking from time to time. what do you guys reccomend as a good pairing for me?

R1slotted and ceramic pads. Very durable rotors and the pads have a lot of bite. Slots help keep the pads from glazing over under the occasional hard braking, this reduces brake fade
