Recommended tyres - Laredo WK2

Hi All,

I am a new member & this my first post. Just wondering if anyone could recommend good tyres for Laredo WK2 Petrol 4 x 4 = 265 / 60 / 18 ? We do holidays at beach etc - so only some sand / dirt roads. My original tyres have done 40k and getting low on tread.... Thanks.

Re: Recommended tyres - Laredo WK2

Tires I considered in the OEM size (P265/60R18).

Goodyear Wrangler A/T Adventure w/Kevlar
Continental CrossContact LX20
Michelin LTX A/T2
Michelin LTX M/S2

The Continental looked a little too 'soccer mom' to me.
The LTX M/S2 looked too tame also (though exceptional tire, my co-worker runs them on his F150).

So it was between the LTX M/S2 and the Goodyears.....
I went with the Goodyears.
Just over 5k miles through a mild MN winter and I've only lost 1/32" of tread. I should be able to get 45-50K out of them.

I just installed some Firestone Destination A/T's on my '14 GC. Love the look of them!

There's also a $70 mail-in rebate right now

Do you still like the Deatination a/t's? I'm trying to decide between them and the continental lx20's.

The factory good years Forteras on the Summit wheels are a huge improvement over the factory michelins that came on my jeep. They make them in the 18" size. Love em!
