RRO leveling kit question

Hi guys .

I got my new tires and wheels installed .I'm planning to add RRO leveling kit .I checked with dealer today he wants 400$ for installation without alignment .

Does anybody know a good place in around seattle to get the leveling kit installed ?

That's nuts!

I'm on the other side of the country, but I paid either $275 or $295, alignment included.

I'd keep looking. That's way overpriced from quotes I got from my local 4WheelParts store...they quoted me at $200 w/ an alignment, when I was considering getting the leveling kit.

Re: RRO leveling kit question

For reference; mine cost $369 installed including alignment. I can't help you on Seattle locations though.

Re: RRO leveling kit question

If a garage doesn't do that kind of work often I could see them charging for the contingency. Also if they need to assign two people then that would be the difference between the 275 and 400 rates..

Also some garage build the contingency of you coming back and not being happy and having to redo the job.. My local 4wd shop I now just ask to be charged hourly.. sometimes it isn't in my favor and sometimes it is.. I also normally stick around or am in the area so I know a 2 hour job wasn't 4 hours..

Re: RRO leveling kit question

So my buddy (lexus mechanic) was installing my RRO lift last night (with air tools), rear was a breeze but when we got to the front, the control arm bolt was so tight from the factory that we ended up stripping it, so I had to go buy new control arms today and will hopefully finish it tonight. Wish I woulda bought the kit with the RRO control arms now. ImageUploadedByJeepGarage1414098994.038048.jpg
