RRO Lift - Front End Rattle

I installed the RRO lift on my 2012 last June and there has been a pretty consistant rattle coming from the front right suspension. I've re-torqued everything and even brought it to a Jeep dealership who billed me 2 hours labor but couldnt find the cause. It almost sounds like the spacer is loose but I know thats not the case. Has anyone experienced anything like this or have any ideas? I spoke with RRO and they didnt have any suggestions. Thanks.

I experienced something similar on my 2010 WK with the RRO lift. I would hear a loose sounding rattle when I would hit bumps. I originally upgraded to Bilstein HD's when I first lifted it, but just recently i went back to the stock front shocks and the rattle has gotten less severe. It is still there just allot less noticeable, I think it has something to do with the changed geometry of the suspension and the way the loads get transferred through the front end. I hope this helps...

Right on, thanks. The fact that its only coming from the right side and not both has got me guessing. I really dont want to take it all apart again but probably will as its beginning to drive me crazy.

I installed the RRO leveling kit on our 2011 4x4 last year and recently we had the same rattle coming from the front right as well. I took the tire off to inspect and everything looked alright and tight. I put the tire back on and torqued the lugs to spec and the noise seems to be gone. Weird that it is just that one side.

We have a 2014 Ecodiesel 4x4 on order right now and I am having some second thoughts on putting another leveling kit on it.

I just put on my RRO lift on about a week ago and I also experience this front end rattle. Though I definitely experienced the same rattle before the lift was put on, it was just A LOT less frequent without the lift (I'm guessing because of the suspension seemed to lean heavily on the front end before the lift). Honestly I think it might just be normal suspension noise that comes along with the QT1 package, but I just don't know. Rechecked the suspension and everything is tight. I also hear a few popping noises every once in awhile when turning very sharp, usually sounds like it's coming from the right front or back wheel (alternates), but I cant really pinpoint if it's the suspension or not. I might just be paranoid but would love any feedback from anyone with similar experiences!

I've had my lift for over two years now, no noises to really speak of. Though some popping when turning sharply when moving very slowly, but I think that's more tire related than anything.

It's been so long since the last reply but guess I'm bringing this thread back to life. I just had the RRO lift kit with UCA installed and I'm experiencing this rattle as well. I had a dealer install the kit, and he said it'd drive like a tank until I could get it aligned. He wasn't able to do it there. Getting an alignment done tomorrow although I know that will have no effect on the rattle.

After getting under the Jeep I could clearly see what the issue was. Got in to a shop and they tried to tighten the sway bar end link on the passenger side but couldn't. Turns out the dealer which installed the RRO 2.5" lift kit stripped the bolt on the end link and just left it really loose instead of actually doing their job. :wtf:

The shop I went to ordered a new one, put it on and no more rattle. Same ride quality too. Just wanted to post this in case anyone has a similiar issue.
