RRO Lift Install Cost

What is the average cost for having the RRO lift kit installed? I've talked to two shops now that are both around $750 for labor, plus the cost of alignment and $410 for the kit. They thought it would be about 6-6.5 hours of work.

Is ~$750 reasonable? I've never had this type of work done before, so I am not sure. I am assuming since two different shops came back with similar quotes, this is the going rate in my area but just wanted to check first.

Thank you

Shouldn't be over 750 WITH alignment. Install is only 4 hours if they focus on it.

It's effectively the same length of install and cost as many other lifts, since you have to pull out the strut and coil to put the spacer on.

Re: RRO Lift Install Cost

IIRC mine was about $400 for install on my 2012, including alignment.

Got it, I will call a few more shops and see how others come in.

That is quite a bit less. Have a feeling difference in cost of living/labor rates drive this though. SF is at least double the cost of living than NC.

Re: RRO Lift Install Cost

Just had mine installed and they dismounted my stock tires and mounted and balanced my new 275/55 R20's. $500 plus $98 for an alignment. This as at a highly rated 4x4 shop.

Yeah definitely, didn't realize you were in SF. That would definitely explain some of the gap.

Re: RRO Lift Install Cost

I've seen a pretty wide range in quotes for the RRO lift install. Two shops here (Denver, CO) quoted $1,200 just for install, but eventually I found a shop that did it for closer to $450. I think we're at 102 on the CPI; given that SF is probably the highest, your numbers seem reasonable.
