Looking at purchasing a set of 17" Rubicon take offs from Crag's list with the BFG 255 55 17 tires.
Will the 17" wheels clear the breaks? I believe the ecodiesel has the bigger breaks and there isn't much clearance with the 18" factory wheels. I can just slide my finger between the caliper and the wheel.

Any one know if they clear the breaks and fit in the wheel well.

17 ' s will not clear the HD brake calipers. They are hit or miss with the standard calipers.

There is a chance you "might" be able to make them work with spacers, but in general, 17" wheels are a no-go with the HD brakes on JGC.
