Rumbling Rear suspension.

My 2014 (Jan) GC Limited had rumbling noise at rear. When at Dealers for another warranty job (600km round trip) they had test drive and agreed, but also said they had heard worse. They then had to order replacement shocks, so 3 weeks wait and another 600km trip. Surely they could have had a local source ( as it has seems to be an ongoing problem) .
The noise is not now as bad , though still "rumbly" over bumps in the road.
Anyone else had similar problems ?

I had 3 sets of shocks replaced in my WK2 before they refused to do any more work. I have now had the rear shock mounts replaced and the noise is gone. Jeep have now issued a replacement advice to dealers for those who complain about the noise.....Get in there and complain is my advice.

I was told and read that the problem is ONLY with Quadra lift air suspension models
This problem was mentioned in a Motoring magazine article, confirming it was a problem with mounting, not the shocks.
Does any one know if this is correct.

Mine is a Limited GC.

The issue is in non QL suspensions with the load leveling shocks (tow pkg)
Interesting. Guess this will be brought up whenever I go in for the brake recall fix, because my rear suspension is also rumbling over certain terrain and it's bugging.

Thanks for the heads up. I wasn't sure if this was only for those who were experiencing the *rattling* and not so much the rumbling noise.

Let us know how the TSB goes for you and what they do to fix it, if possible.
