The WK2 comes from the factory with 18" wheels, and they have almost the same offset as 18" from a JK, so it's plausible. The downside is that tire options are somewhat limited, there are a lot more 17" & 20" tire choices out there.

Re: Sahara wheels on 14 hemi or diesel

You are correct about all that, so that is the reason I believe they will fit. Once I bolt them on I will update everyone. I am just looking for winter rims and tires and the new steel rims cost as much as these JK OEM rims, so why not get the good ones.
By the way what is NSA surveillance van #574. Am I in trouble for something?

Re: Sahara wheels on 14 hemi or diesel

I'm curious as well. I'd like a set of 70th Anniversary Sahara 18" rims for my Summit. I think they look great, but if they are going to require grinding of the HD brake calipers, I'll go another route.

Re: Sahara wheels on 14 hemi or diesel

I just had the dealer fit test a 2014 18" Sahara rim on my 2014 Overland Diesel, they fit but with little clearance to the calipers, I will be using them for my winter tires.

Re: Sahara wheels on 14 hemi or diesel

Resurrecting an old thread here; Does anyone have any feedback yet from installing a set of Sahara's on their diesel/hemi? There are several sets of Saharas on my local craigslist in the $600 range with less than 5k miles on them that I think would be a good deal for winter weather and light off road use.
Another issue I'm running into (besides potential for fitment) is that none of these sets for sale have their pressure sensors. If I put these on without sensors, will it give me an error message?

Re: Sahara wheels on 14 hemi or diesel

Installed on mine. fit fine! here's a pic in park mode

If the TPMS is not with the wheel, you will get a message and dash light.

Re: Sahara wheels on 14 hemi or diesel

great. thanks for the pic. Although I'd be looking at the more current sahara wheels, I assume they are the same spec size-wise.

Any ideas on running them without pressure sensors? I'm trying to be as lazy and cheap as possible and would like to leave my sensors in other wheels to swap back out for summer.

Edit: I just saw your note below the pic. As long as it doesn't beep at me, I guess I can handle a dash light.

thanks,

Re: Sahara wheels on 14 hemi or diesel

My understanding is you can get a second set of sensors, and the gc will see those, cutting out the nag..

Re: Sahara wheels on 14 hemi or diesel

The Sahara is a 18" wheel and the Rubicon is a 17" wheel. 7.5" wide with a 6.25 BA (Back Spacing) if that helps....

Re: Sahara wheels on 14 hemi or diesel

I installed a set of Sahara take offs on my diesel. They fit fine. No rubbing and raised the jeep 3/4". They barely clear the calibers in the front though. But I have had no issue. I wanted rubicon wheels but there is no way they will fit. Spacers will ease the caliper clearance issue. ImageUploadedByJeepGarage1423744126.925626.jpg

Sahara wheels on 14 hemi or diesel

I have a few JK wheels so I tried some. The 17's didn't fit, can they, sure I guess but...?
The older 18" JK Sahara wheel fit fine and the offset(+44.45) worked well. Barely a 1/4" of clearance but it's plenty
I didn't put any air in it or check too well but things fit. I wasn't looking for specifics or measuring I just had a minute and a wheel. Ask away.
I tried a couple Wj wheels none fit.
