satin aluminum rims to polished aluminum

Hey guys, so on my grand cherokee i have the 20" Premium satin carbon aluminum rims and I want the look of the Bright polished aluminum rims. now I'm not gonna go out and buy 4 new overland rims so i was thinking of using a paint striper to remove the clear coat and sating paint to get to the aluminum underneath and then polish them myself with a polish kit i found in stores.

has anyone done this before?

Re: satin aluminum rims to polished aluminum

If you had the time you could strip them and polish them, but the 2011 - 2013 overland summit wheels already came that way and there was a vendor that sold them either polished look or chrome plated.
