The gearing obviously doesn't change between settings but Sport mode holds gears longer and snow mode starts in 2nd gear from a stop.

Re: Selec-Terrain Settings Details

Is there any way to change the default mode fro Auto to Sport so you don't need to turn the dial every time you start?

Forum says "no" is too short of an answer.

You can't change default, but you can be trained to give the knob a twist as part of the startup routine.

Re: Selec-Terrain Settings Details

Cheers Mate. Yep worked out the knob turning for myself, but as a sparky having to activate a switch every time defies logic when the machine has a basic CPU. Thought there may have been a trick to keep it on a different mode, obviously from your comments NOT. Our dealers here in Oz know less about these things than us bloke that own them.

Believe when I say it's mostly the same here in the states.
