Slow to shift into reverse

Have noticed lately and only occasionally that when shifting from drive to reverse it takes about 5 seconds for the transmission to engage and shift into reverse. Also have noticed that when backing out of driveway and shifting from reverse to neutral then drive there is a pop like a release of tension. Any ideas? I am due for my first service and have a list of things to get fixed and just wondering what is the best way or technical terms to describe this to the dealership.

Re: Slow to shift into reverse

Slow gear engagement. Could be a fluid fill (low or over) or something else internal.
