Snow Rims and Tires

So I was thinking about getting a second set of wheels strictly for the winter. Im thinking about going with some steelies, and Blizzaks.

This was what I came up with,

Pro Comp 97-7973 - Pro Comp Series 97 Rock Crawler Xtreme 1-Piece Gloss Black Steel with 5x5 Bolt Pattern in 17x9 Size & 4.25 Backspacing - Quadratec

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....DMV1&tab=Sizes

I would love to hear what you guys are using or would suggest.

Re: Snow Rims and Tires

CHeck your spare tire size, pretty sure with the Hemi engine you have to use an 18" rim to clear brakes etc. my spare is an 18" rim and that is what I will be purchasing next week.

A decent 18" alloy wheel will run you around $140. Last Dec got 18" alloy wheels, Blizzaks and the 4 TPMS for around $1400 from my tire guy out the door and on the my WK2. No shipping and lifetime rotation and balancing.

And people sell their OEM takeoffs all the time for way cheaper than those procomps. I let mine go for $150 for all four.

Re: Snow Rims and Tires

Got my set from discount tire shipped to my door ready to bolt on for $999. They are 17" aluminum wheels with hankook ipike tires. I highly reccommend the ipikes(have them on both vehicles) and discount tire. My setup did not include TPMS and I was able to go down to 17 since I have a v6. My 2 cents

Re: Snow Rims and Tires

What can the offset be/or should be on 18 inch by 8 inch wheel for a 2014 Limited? I don't want to pick up the wrong used wheels. Thanks, Dave

I wouldn't post your number like that (especially a cell phone number that would let every crank on the internet call you wherever you are)....just have people PM you if they're interested...

Re: Snow Rims and Tires

Can someone confirm the lug nuts for a 20inch wk2 overland wheel will fit / match a 18 inch limited rim, and the TPMS is the same type for both? THANKS!
