I have an EcoDiesel and love the car now that I have the DEF plate installed.

I was looking to improve the handling aspect of the suv and heard about the rear sway bar upgrade and decided to give it a try.

Fortunately I have access to a lift and in about 1 1/2 hours my son and I were able to remove the original bar and end links and install the upgraded components. If anyone tries this I would reccomend spraying the bolts with PB Blaster or similar product to help with the rusty bolts. It definitely was a pita to get them off.

So, how does the GC behave now that the SRT bar is installed? Well it is definitely more neutral in cornering than the rather severe under steer the GC had before so I am definitely happy with the results. If you can get the suv on a lift it is worth the effort.

You don't have the Quadra-Lift Air Suspension, do you? The rear sway bar upgrade on my Subaru (using the Japanese 20 mm thick bar vs. the factory 16 mm) was and still is one of the favorite mods. I wanted to do the same with the jeep but I thought it would not be possible with the air suspension.

Red - thanks! Surprisingly enough the EcoDiesel and the SRT share the same front sway bar plus I wanted to reduce the understeer in the SUV.

F1anatic - that is correct I have the standard coil suspension.

LOL!
I put the Impreza STI 19mm on my 2010 Legacy 3.6R (OEM was 16mm).
Wow, what a difference!
Still thought it was funny that the sway bar from their 'small' car fit on their 'large' performance sedan.

I'm looking to get the Durango/SRT sway bar for mine, but just haven't gotten around to it yet.
