Love my WRG3's. They handle the 80+" of snow we get here easily and have the same treadwear rating as the Latitudes. Great year round tires!

The SHP refers to the tri-toon hull
First one is on blocks last spring (brand new) before she was in the water.
Second one is in the water in my slip at the marina. (Notice how the rear end sits lower than the front due to the weight of the engine and the gas tank.)

Unfortunately it's hard to get good 'action' shots when the gang we run with is either running hard or parked at the beach enjoying the sun and some brews. So far, no other tri-toon on the river can touch me, and there's a lot of fiberglass speed boats that can't either.

Edit: Ugh! old ugly Michelin tires. Jeep looks much better now with the Goodyear Adventures!
Thanks. A wolf in sheep's clothing.

Ok so you guys have convinced me to consider the Nokian WRG...looks like a decent choice for an All Weather tire option.
What size do you run and how far off is your speedo?
My Overland is supposed to come with 265/60 R18 (part of the OR2 package.

Mine are the same size as yours, which are the same as the stock size, so no speedo issues.

You can usually find good tires in the OEM size.
I did with my Goodyears and no speedo difference (according to GPS).

The key thing is to make sure the overall diameter is 30.5 inches.

Re: so, snows or good A/T replacement

Well, yesterday I got a set of Nokian Rotiiva's in 265/60R18. I am pleasantly surprised at how quiet they turned out to be.

Greetings,

I now have 33K on mine and for AT, they are still quiet. I rotate every 6k.
Enjoy them.

Best for now.

Re: so, snows or good A/T replacement

Interesting, but when I was first on Nokian site, I could not locate correct OEM sizing for the
WGR3 tires...however I have now sorted that out. Apparently here in Ontario, they are exclusively sold through Kal Tires....closest location to me is about 2 hours away in Cambridge.

Also check independent dealers. That's where I got mine (Grand Cherokee and Subaru).

Re: so, snows or good A/T replacement

As mentioned below: Last week I replaced the OEM Michelin Latitudes with Nokian's Rotiiva AT 165/60R18 II 4T XL's. I was pleasantly surprised how quiet they are - ever bit as quiet at the Michelin's. Some pics:

Good shots. Thanks. I wonder what "Rotiiva" means?

Greetings,

That is a very interesting question. It must have to do something with Finland. A quick google search did not reveal anything. Just tires.

Best of now.
