spare tire

I just got 2012 Laredo E with Towing and Off-road Adventure 1.
Its include Full Size Spare Tire.
But Chrysler Canada put 245/65 R18 (spare) instead 245/70 R17 (main set).
Is it OK?
It is really full size but why they put tire with another RIM?
Can I clime?

Mathematically speaking its the same size tire. 245/65 18 is 30.53" 245/70 17 is 30.50". Hope that helps.

This is normal. I also have a 18inch spare on a vehicle with 17 inch wheels.

Re: spare tire

My Overland with factory 20" wheels has the same 18" spare.

Re: spare tire

All of the jeep wheel/tire combinations are pretty much the same height no matter if you have the Laredo 17's or the Overland 20's. The only difference is width with the larger rims being slightly wider.
