SRT rear springs

The look you have got going is exactly what I would like to have...
I don't have the tow package so I am pretty sure I don't have load leveling.
Also, where were you able to buy/get them?
Any help you could give would be most appreciated.

Here are the exact part numbers that were on the springs I bought from a fellow member. He had them on his truck for I believe less than a thousand miles, so they were basically brand new (got very lucky).

front part# 5181500AB
rear part #5181502AA

Still have the fronts incase I ever want to lower the front some more.

Re: SRT rear springs

Thanks for those numbers
so you bought both fronts and rears but only used the rears.
Looks perfect. Appreciate you taking the time.

Re: SRT rear springs

Searching the web it looks like best price is going to be a little over 300 bucks a piece for these...better than my local dealer I just called who quoted me 477.00 each.
One final question if you don't mind.
Did you trim your bumpstops?

No, the bump stops are apart of the rear shock assembly, which I didn't touch.

Re: SRT rear springs

ok, cool. I'll leave them alone, only asked because some of the DIY instructions for other type of lowering springs said to do this so I thought you might have as well.
Can't thank you enough for your help.

Re: SRT rear springs

My SRT springs just showed up, had to wait almost 2 weeks from an online vendor...I am going to take pics and measurements of before an after.
Hoping to get them installed next Tuesday night after work, 8/23/16 so look for a post after that,

Re: SRT rear springs

google search of the part numbers provided by antsjeep look to be correct...
5181502AA comes up as coil - rear and 5181500AB comes up as Coil - front.

Re: SRT rear springs

I did a price check on the springs and this is what I found.

Front; Price 81.18 ( multiple application) for front.

Rear: Price 340.34 ( mulitple applications) for rear.

All listing either say order by sales code or spring code.

So the part #'s are probably general part numbers and you would probably need the VIN from an SRT so that the correct spring codes would be found.

I have tried to find out if specific model have matching spring code but I have got a hand full of VINs for trim levels from the same years and same trims and they had spring codes that didn't match.

So the best way the attempt to purchase SRT springs is to give the sales person the vIn and lets them give you the spring codes that match the VIN.

Re: SRT rear springs

Or just hunt around for someone with an SRT willing to sell their springs. I paid $75 shipped for the complete set of springs (will not mention from who).
