so in an attempt to level out my 2011 2wd i scooped up some SRT rear springs and installed over the weekend. Long story short not happy with the final outcome, rear def is now sitting lower than the front! I'm assuming this may be due to not having 4wd which may sit lower than my front. So now I'm contemplating installing SRT springs in the front or is there a way I can possibly add a spacer in the rear, I know i did something similar on my Infiniti using an Energy Suspension spring spacer. I was wondering if anyone here has successfully used them in our application

Hey antsjeep, newbie here, was wondering if you knew what the part number was for those rear springs...I would like to mod my new 2015 JGC limited the same way you did.
The look you have got going is exactly what I would like to have...
I don't have the tow package so I am pretty sure I don't have load leveling.
Also, where were you able to buy/get them?
Any help you could give would be most appreciated.

Here are the exact part numbers that were on the springs I bought from a fellow member. He had them on his truck for I believe less than a thousand miles, so they were basically brand new (got very lucky).

front part# 5181500AB
rear part #5181502AA

Still have the fronts incase I ever want to lower the front some more.

Found a stock Altitude by me and snapped a few shots of the rear to compare side by side. Really for anyone that's wants to know how this drop should look. Subtle but worth the money in my opinion.

The drop was about 1" give or take an 1/8".

SRT rear springs & stock non load leveling shocks on the left and 100% stock suspension on right (neither have tow package, my hitch was added later).

If you look close enough you can see my Mopar chrome tip hanging out :tongueout:

I did a price check on the springs and this is what I found.

Front; Price 81.18 ( multiple application) for front.

Rear: Price 340.34 ( mulitple applications) for rear.

All listing either say order by sales code or spring code.

So the part #'s are probably general part numbers and you would probably need the VIN from an SRT so that the correct spring codes would be found.

I have tried to find out if specific model have matching spring code but I have got a hand full of VINs for trim levels from the same years and same trims and they had spring codes that didn't match.

So the best way the attempt to purchase SRT springs is to give the sales person the vIn and lets them give you the spring codes that match the VIN.

Check out this PDF on how to remove the rear springs.

Eventhough the instructions say to remove the axle from the hub there is no need to do so.

You will have to remove the following:
ABS sensor
Sway bar link
Brake caliper
camber link
Tension link

Then you will have enough travel from the lower control arm to remove the spring.

Hint: The job will go faster if you have an 18mm Gearwrench since there is not enough space for a rachet and socket in there.

** update so the SRT springs that I purchased and installed did end up being front springs, which sucked...wasted a lot of time installing and reinstalling but lesson learned I guess. Finally got my hands on an actual rear set and installed over the weekend, I think I am good to go now!
