Re: SRT reps with Hankook tires installed

I'm sorry redline but pictures don't lie, and real time/world usage from multiple people including myself of having no issues what so ever and enjoying the look and ride...

Haven't you seen those ricers and slammed cars with the stretched tires... Those in my opinion are a disaster waiting to happen, not what we are running.

I agree, some tire places probably wont mount them due to liability.

Re: SRT reps with Hankook tires installed

Wow I'm glad i read this thread! I'm going thru a lot right now making a choice between the overland and the summit.. I love how the overland looks outside but love how the summit is inside with all the bells and whistles.. I think I'm gonna pull the trigger with the summit but I hate those rims and all the chrome ( please I'm not trying to offend anyone who does) definitely would like to buy a set but I have 2 questions.. The first one is..is it odd to have all tires 20x10 being that the car is 4x4 and it being staggered has a affect on the transmission supposedly? The second question is the price for the set your purchased shipped with tires and sensors? I live in ny/nj as well..

Also if your selling your overland rims can you pm me a price i might be interested in them as well.. I'm ordering my car Tuesday for sure but won't be getting it for 8-10 weeks.. Might just want to take them off your hand and use those up.. I don't want those chrome rims at all and i really like those rims to be honest..

Re: SRT reps with Hankook tires installed

The drivetrain would only be affected if the diameter of any of the tires were different from each other, width won't really have an affect. But in my opinion for a 4x4, the same wheel and tire size all the way around would be best.

I also PMd you.

Re: SRT reps with Hankook tires installed

Does anyone have a picture of these spider monkey wheels in black chrome and hyper silver pictured side by side?

I would assume that a 20x9 or 20x10 wheel would have the same tire width with the 295/45r20?

Both the 20x10 and the 20x9 would have 11.6 inches of tire on the pavement with a 295/45 20 tire. Slightly different profile.

Thanks, I wondering why some get this same wheel in a 20x9 and some a 20x10.

Now, I just need to see a hyper silver next to a black chrome in real life to make a final decision on what to go with.

Do these larger tires have a negative effect on mpg over the factory 265/50r20s?

Yeah anytime you change the size or diameter of rims and tires, it will have an effect on MPG. different ratios and weights
