Re: SRT reps with Hankook tires installed

I have a 2011 grand Cherokee limited. I currently have 265/50/r20 with goodyear forteras. I want this exact look what is the biggest tire I can get without rubbing 275/50/r20?

This looks sick. How do you think those rims and tires would look on stone white?

Are those the chrome rims or gunmetal machined

I think I want the gunmetal machined up against my white I have some chrome accents like yours (door handles, and mirrors)... Opinions??

The finish I got is called Hyper Dark Silver.

Stock suspension I haven't made any modifications. I want to keep 20" rims. I was thinking about maybe a 275

Do these larger tires have a negative effect on mpg over the factory 265/50r20s?
It doesn't look like anyone addressed this question. Whats the difference between the 20x10 and 20x9 if both are going to have the same amount of rubber on the road? I'm going to be getting these same wheels, but was thinking about the 20x10. Also, any advantage/disadvantage between a 295/40/20 vs a 295/45/20? I'm going to be putting them on a 2015 GC Altitude with stock suspension.

The main difference between the two, is how the sidewall will look. I wanted a taller, meatier sidewall with a flat contact pattern on the road, so I went with 20x9 rim and a 295/45 tire... if I wanted a stretched / rounded I would go with the 20x10

Re: SRT reps with Hankook tires installed

Do the 295's have the same amount of surface contact with pavement on a 9" and 10" rim and if so, why not go with the 10" rims?

Two reasons. The look of the sidewall and crown of the tire will be different. AND, the 20x10 rim weighs more, less unsprung weight in my opinion will always be better.

Re: SRT reps with Hankook tires installed

You can put a "wider/larger" tire on a 10" rim too. Although at some point rubbing may be an issue. Not sure where that is on these GC.
