Wtf! They made one for my 2003 z71 Tahoe but not for my wk2, stupid! Seeing how popular this truck is would be a no brainier.

Please keep me posted on the SRT8 sway bar adventure. Looks like we are running out of options, sucks

Re: SRT sway bars.

Ok guys, I emailed www.hellwigproducts.com yesterday and told them of the "HIGH" demand for larger sway bars. They emailed me back and wanted to know what forum I was on so that they could do some research.

Now is your chance to make this happen......so when or if you see a thread from them make sure you let them know you "NEED" larger sway bars!

Re: SRT sway bars.

Still nothing??
Might have to bite the bullet and try to sneak a front and rear bar and some Eibachs past the wife in a couple of months while she's overseas and test them out.
If I wanted to drive a boat, I would have bought a boat.

Re: SRT sway bars.

I still have not seen any specs that state the SRT8 sway bars are any different than a standard WK2. They are the same size, so unless there is some difference (hollow versus not, stiffness deltas, etc.) there is no reason to change anything. Did I miss some post?

Re: SRT sway bars.

No you didn't miss anything, I'm just going to give it a go based on the WK SRT bars being solid vs hollow and the fact they are different part numbers.
If they are the same, at least when I go to sell, I can say its got SRT sway bars *roll*
If they are different then everyone will find out

Re: SRT sway bars.

I tapped on the rear sway and it did not sound hollow, but it is tough to tell. If made out of the same material the weights should be different if one is hollow and one is not. Please let us know your findings 'cause getting a little less roll would be great!

Re: SRT sway bars.

Ok, just a quick post, I've got the SRT rear sway bar installed. It is definitely better than the stock one. The Jeep is just getting Eibachs fitted now so when I get home I'll post more of a write up.

Re: SRT sway bars.

I appreciate your experimentation and evaluation. However, what in the specifications makes the 25 mm rear sway bar for the SRT better than the 25 mm rear sway bar for the WK2? The upgraded sway bar specs for my Lexus IS 350 included information about how much stiffer the F-Sport sway bar was compared to the stock sway bar. I have not seen that information for this part yet ...
