SRT8 reps in 22x9 or 22x10 with 305-35-22's

Hi Everyone.

For those running the SRT8 replicas in a 22" size with the 305-35-22's, are you going with 22x9 or 22x10 size?

I like the idea of the 22x9 because it leaves you with a bit more tire bulge to protect from curb rash. If the 22x9 option could result in rubbing however, I'd definitely go with the 22x10.

What has everyone's experiences been with 22x9 all around & 22x10 all around set-ups. I'd appreciate pics as well if you can.

You'll have side wall protection with a 305 and 10" wheel.
Why do you want to go with a 35 series? If everything goes as planned I should have time to get my setup mounted tomorrow. The shop got the lexani johnson II and I don't want to wait anymore so Im going to take those wheel.

Just covering my options in case....

The Cooper Zeon LTZ in a 305-40-22 is still very much my first choice. It'll be great to see how yours turns out.

What offset you end up settling on Blown SS/T?

They told me it was a 42mm then 45mm but idk we'll see when I get there tomorrow to have them put on. I think they'll need centric hub rings, and I ordered some last night online just incase. And with that offset they should pretty much sit as flush as possible with that tire combo, I was actually having second thoughts about doing a 35-38 offset but this will be fine. I can always use a spacer if I wanted to vs if the offset were closer to negative then I can't do anything to sit them closer to the car.

Hopefully all goes well and I'll have them on tomorrow.

What offset did you end up with & did you need the hubcentric rings?

Post some pics when you have a chance.

45mm offset, shop said it didn't need rings but it does. Good thing I ordered them the other night. Really like how wide the tires look on the jeep from the rear. I don't care to much for the style of the wheel but it'll do for now and the wife likes them. I'll have to post pics with my laptop at home.

Anyone that says 305/40/22 is too big or doesn't fit is crazy, it's a perfect fit. I'm running the same size on my other truck for street and love them.

Hey Blown SS/T, did you take some pics of your new set up?

Is anyone running a 305-35-22 with a 22x9 SRT rep or has everyone gone with 22x10?

Did you ever get an answer or pics? I am in the same boat, 2015 Altitude and looking to to 22x9 WK1 Reps however I was thinking about a 285/40/22 and wondering if I would have any rubbing.

285/40/22 will work. I just sent neilboy some pics via email, I can't upload them on my phone. I was telling him how my wife was in a car accident a week ago, and the bastard that hit her decided to flee the scene. Insurance is going to repair the truck. Wheels were still nearly new and the guy hit both rims on left side. Good thing is my wife is ok.

I didn't have any issues with the 305/40/22 on the 22x10's. I had ordered hub rings and had them in the back of the jeep was just needing to install them but unfortunately we had that accident.
