suggestions on tires for stock 14 Grand Cherokee

I live in New England and it is time to start looking for new tires. 245/70/17. Any suggestions. I really didn't like the stock tires. Looking for a little more of an aggressive tire awesome in snow.

Re: suggestions on tires for stock 14 Grand Cherokee

Are you looking for a dedicated winter tire or something more of an "all season" type of tire?

I just bought a 2015 GC, and removed the OE Michelins, and installed a set of Nokian WRG SUVs on it. I recently took an unexpected trip with the GC, in 70* summer weather, and while the tires' performance on the interstate at 70 MPH was OK, they're supposed to be quite good in the winter. They might be something you want to look into, if winter performance is a priority for you.

Re: suggestions on tires for stock 14 Grand Cherokee

Greetings,

Their is a number of threads here regarding the Nokian WRG3 SUV. However, I did not see your tire size listed. I would give them a call anyway because sometimes they have new sizes coming out and the winter update is due to soon.

Nokian WRG3 SUV - Nokian Tyres is introducing the rugged, high-performance Nokian WRG3 SUV all-weather tire for varied use on sports utility vehicles. / Nokian Tires

Best for now.

Love the Nokians - year round use, including 80" of annual snow.
