Summer Wheel package - TPMS or not?

I'm getting the FR SRT8 22" reps for my Overland & was wondering what others have done with regards to the tire pressure monitor sensors.

Are you getting them or not bothering?

I hadn't even thought about getting them until my tire/rim guy asked me if I wanted them for my summer wheels. He priced them out at the local Chrysler dealer. I was shocked to find out they are $88.00 each Canadian.

I'm a little tight for time now since the wheels/tires are in & being installed this Sunday.

Just verifies for me that the dealer is literally robbing people.

Thanks for the link btw.

It's gonna cost me around $100.00 Canadian plus tax rather than $352.00 Canadian plus tax from the local Chrysler dealer.

So I'll be about a week or two later in getting my 22's on.

Thanks man....

I just put on my 22 srt reps the other day.. Local shop in Hawaii reused the ones on my stock wheels and put it on to the new ones.. Not sure how legit that is but it works

Re: Summer Wheel package - TPMS or not?

I'm thinking that not having the TPMS will be quite annoying from a systems perspective...and honestly, they are a very good safety feature. For me, about a year and a half ago, they alerted me to an issue that wasn't yet visible so I could deal with it expeditiously.
