Also if you are looking for one that is good in snow but is an all season that can be left on year round look at the Nokian WRG3 SUV, very good winter tire for all seasons.

Re: Summit with Terra Grappler G2's Pics

Sorry for taking so long to respond, but I was having issues logging into the site for some odd reason.

The tires are GREAT! They're great on the highway, snow, and rain. Coincidentally, Baltimore got hit with a blizzard within a week of my installation of the grapplers. My area got around 30 inches of snow. There were very few vehicles on the road, but I had to test the tires out and give my impression (state of emergency). The tires did awesome. I was on some roads that had well over 1 foot of snow without any issue. I have some pictures that I will post tomorrow and hopefully a video or two.

I haven't seen snow like this in quite some time and the Jeep/tires did great. A lot of fun. Nothing but lifted jeeps, plows, and some jacked up trucks.

I have zero complaints.

I'm leaning towards the G2's for my Overland HA in stock size. Any more reviews??

Re: Summit with Terra Grappler G2's Pics

I just put the defenders on my 14 summit. So far I love them. They handle surprisingly well and still have a good tread pattern and depth. Rain performance is excellent and they are nice and quiet and smooth on the highway.

I run dedicated snow tires in the winter so I can't comment on snow traction. I live in an area that gets 10-12 ft of snow a year. So all seasons are worthless up here. But if you only get a little bit of snow, I think the defenders would do quite well.

They also have an awesome treadwear warranty...so I expect to get 55 to 60k miles out of them.

Looks like the the G2s are the stock size 265/50-R20 from the picture of the tire.

He said they are stock - 265/50R20. I went with the G2's as they were $687 shipped to my house vs. $972 for the Michelins.

You'll love those tires, great all around for wear, ride comfort and limited noise. I've had many sets of them on different trucks over the years, they handle amazing in the snow as well.

Yeah I've had them on previous pickups before and liked them. Never had the g2's though.
