Suspension Creak Over Bumps At Low Speeds

I have had my 2014 GC for about a month now and I have noticed that when I go over a large speed bump at low speeds the suspension creaks on the front driver side. If I go over bumps at higher speeds it doesn't make the same creak. I don't know if this is just something that I am worrying over or an issue.

Note: I have the Quadra-Lift suspension.

Quick Update:

As I left the office for lunch today the 1st speed bump I gently went over created the creak sound as the front driver tire landed down on the other side of the bump. Next speed bump the creak was barely audible.

On my return to the office, I tried to record video of the jeep going over a speed bump slowly and creaking... However, there was no creak over the same bumps. It's certainly going to have this looked at (our at least have it documented with the service dept.) when i go in for service as I don't believe we should be hearing creaks over low speed bumps at any time during vehicle operation. :fryingpan:

I will try to capture this sound when I leave work today, I'm betting it makes a creak noise over the first bump, when the vehicle is just starting out.

I got my Jeep back from the dealer today. It took them several days to try and find out where the creaking noise came from. They narrowed it down to an issue with the strut assembly. They did not go into detail as to what was wrong with the assembly, but whatever they did it resolved the issue. I took it on the wonderfully bumpy roads of Houston and I didn't hear any sort of creaks, hell I don't really hear many of the bumps.

Hopefully this helps out someone.

update:

Finally got mine in for it's first oil change, def fill and suspension noise issue. I just received a call from the service dept and they are replacing the left front strut assembly on my GC Summit.

I'll just keep updating this for others in case they have issues such as this.

I just got off the phone with service. They need to keep the WK2 for another day as there are still, as the suspension noises are still there after the strut swap. He described them as 'reverberation' noises in the suspension over sharp bumps.

They are paying for my rental, which is nice.

That's all for now.

I had noises in my front end too and what they found out is that the nuts on the stabilizer bars were loose, and it was rattling in jarring every time you hit a decent bump..... this may or may not be your problem....

I had a similar issue with a rattle/vibration somewhere in the front of the vehicle. after crawling around under the vehicle I noticed a loose bolt that holds on the big black plastic splash guard under the transmission area was about to fall out. The plastic splash guard was vibrating against the cross member. I removed the bolt put some blue Loctite on it reinstalled and tightened. Problem solved! While I was under there I started checking other bolts and nuts. I found three more that were finger tight, pretty poor quality control for a vehicle with 2K miles. I would encourage everyone to check the undercarriage for loose nuts and bolts.
