Hey everyone, this is my first post, just wanted to share the excitement I'm feeling now that I've got my wk2 sitting pretty. I bought a 2011 Laredo 4x4 3.6L about 8 months ago, it is my first GC and I couldn't be happier. Have used this forum and many of y'alls threads for a lot of useful information while deciding what upgrades to do. Let's get to the good stuff, initially I installed a RRO leveling kit for the front and installed 275/70/17 BFG A/T KO2. This unintentially caused the jeep to "squat" as the front was 1/2 inch+ higher. I thought I was gonna have to live with it unless I wanted to drop a lot of money on a full kit from OME or Eibach, BUT then I saw where OME made the components of the lift kit available to be purchased separately. I ordered, and installed today, new rear coil springs that provided 2 inches of lift. IT LOOKS AMAZEBALLS. Will put up pics once I take a few. I've also installed a lot of LEDs and hit the plasti-dip pretty hard. Thanks for reading, oh btw I've got about $400 in suspension. Not bad for a true 2 inches all the way around. Now if only i could get 2 inches for something else for that cheap hahaha
Here's the e-mail reply: "Thank you for your interest in ARB/OME. That’s correct, the most likely option for most customers will be the 3074. You’ll need the longer, matching, Shocks to accommodate the extra height. I have attached the application guide for the WK2 for your examination. Pay close attention to the weight ratings and the tech notes therein. You’ll get the best look and performance by outfitting both front and rear. We do not sell direct. There is a dealer search engine on our website; www.arbusa.com . Let us know if you have any further questions."
I wonder if the original poster replaced his shocks as well? I'd rather not have to do that.
