Re: Suspension Lift Kit - WK2 4x4 Quadra-lift

1.25" over OR1 puts you pretty close to "normal" for OR2 which has a significant speed restriction. Be sure you carefully test what your rig performs like and remember "normal" OR1 has a speed limit, too...

I can tell that although I rarely use the raised levels, those few times I have, I immediately noticed the increased harshness and OR2 was something I preferred not even getting close to the 25 mph limit...and that was on sand.

Yep I'm tracking that "pretty close to normal for OR2" too but this kit will allow me to drive at NRH +1.25" at speeds above 40-46mph where OR1 would automatically lower the suspension at these speeds.

So my intent is to drive with this kit on and set to medium for my in city and mild off road driving so what the vehicle thinks is normal ride height is actually re calibrated to be approx. 1.25" higher with no speed limitations.

On rockier trails and obstacles I will select OR1 re calibrated to be approx. 1.25" higher or roughly what on an unmodified QL system would be OR2 and I can maintain this height up to the speed restrictions of the standard OR1 if necessary and safe.

When driving on the highway or at higher speeds in city I can turn the system off and be back to factory settings.

For those that like driving in aero or park mode heights, they can use the low setting to achieve this without speed limitations also.

Approximate height changes:
Low: -22mm or -32mm for Jeep GC depending on vehicle setting at calibration,
-24mm for Dodge Ram Off : no change
Medium: +32mm High: +50mm

How does the wk2 drive in or1? Would it be safe enough and comfortable enough to drive everyday if I had a Llamas system installed? Want to run 32"s in the winter months and go back to low pro 20s or 22s in the summer

That depends on personal feelings on safety and comfort, but I daily drive with the Llams Kit in medium and OR1 almost all the time with no issues whatsoever and that's with 32" DuraTracs year round.

I have had no issues with the kit at all. I love the look and benefits of higher clearance at higher speeds and have used the medium setting with OR2 only when rock crawling on a couple obstacles.

Greeting,

I am thinking of getting for JGC. I believe it should work for my 2011. I have been driving pickups, vans and mason dumps over the years. The additional height does not bother me and I am used to it on the highway.

Best for now.

Re: Suspension Lift Kit - WK2 4x4 Quadra-lift

Anyone have any more info on this. I see some guys are running it. Still like it? Is it worth the money?

Looking for contact info to purchase one possibly. All I see on the website is for the LR. Anyone have a link, or contact info on this?

Still loving mine with no issues.

Graeme is the owner of Llams and you can email him directly at:

kits@llams.com.au

He was very responsive to my questions and install was a breeze. I haven't needed to take it off before any major dealer services but will be a 5-10 minute process if necessary. I leave it on for oil changes and tire rotations as they won't even know it exists.

Your correct, he is very responsive and helpful. I just ordered mine. The install looks real simple, how was the calibration?

Congrats on the order, I think you'll be very happy with the new capabilities/height levels.

Calibration was a fairly quick and easy process. Slowest part was waiting for the system to adjust through the different levels and you may have to let the system cool down towards the end of the calibration process.

Re: Suspension Lift Kit - WK2 4x4 Quadra-lift

Got the unit installed and I believe it is calibrated correctly. Is the knob on yours set up as Low, Off, Medium, and High? Also what setting do you run, this is my daily driver and I hop to be going with a larger tire soon.
