Yep that's exactly how mine is setup. I tend to keep it in the medium height setting for daily driving.

I ran the cable tucked under the edge along the center console then behind the lower dash and just have it resting under the steering wheel where I can reach and adjust as necessary but still easily remove the entire kit without leaving a trace of its existence.

Re: Suspension Lift Kit - WK2 4x4 Quadra-lift

Update. So far so good. Med is 1.25" exactly and Hi is 2" of lift. The 2" looks good and I would say rides similar to a sports car. Not too rough, but firm. To me I don't notice a difference in the ride quality on Medium. Easy to install and easy to calibrate.

Re: Suspension Lift Kit - WK2 4x4 Quadra-lift

Hey guys. I just picked up a 2016 Overland with QL last night. Traded in my 2014 Laredo Altitude. I'm interested in the Llams kit. I had a few questions for the ones who have this installed and have been using it on daily drivers.

You think this kit would work with my 2016?
Does Aero mode still work if I always run it at 1.25"?
is the 1.25" all around, just up front? I'm ideally wanting to just level out the front, but would be very nice to have the 1.25" all around lift, with no speed limit, and level all around.
Would you consider this an easy install for an amatuer?
Is the module a set it and forget it or does it need to be used every time I get in the jeep?

I have 275/55/20 KO2's i'm having the dealership swap over from my previous jeep. This is mainly why i'm wanting leveling/higher ride height. Plus it looks a lot better! Little more comfortable for daily driving with some extra travel room.

Thanks in advance.

carleycr - I can't confirm that the system will work on a 2016. It should but Graeme the owner of the company would be the best person to ask and he has always been very responsive to emails given the time difference.

Aero mode still works it is just 1.25 inches higher than the standard aero height if you use the medium setting. The adjustment is for all four corners.

I thought this was a very easy and reversible install. I just tucked my settings switch under my steering wheel so it was easy to access, out of sight and easy to remove if warranty work is ever needed.

The module is set it and forget it. It will stay in whatever setting level you put the switch in until you change it but was very easy to set to the low setting and put the vehicle in park mode whenever my handicapped mother-in-law needed easier access.

I run 265/75/18 Duratracs and generally keep my Llams system in the high setting unless I am doing extensive highway driving then I just put it in the normal setting.

Very happy with it and highly recommend it.

Re: Suspension Lift Kit - WK2 4x4 Quadra-lift

Just like Bigcat said. Set it and forget it. As for the forward rake, he is about to start making them where you can set it to be level or keep the factory stance only 1.25 or 2" higher or 1.25" lower. When you contact him about the 2016 application, ask him about the level setting. After getting my module, I emailed him and asked about a setting to take the rake out. Basically, I asked if he could do one that lowered the rear by .25" and raised the front .25" on top of the regular settings. He liked the idea and sent me the internals for my module to trial. Unfortunately I just got them and I leave for vacation for a week. I plan on installing them when I get back.

BigCat or ARWK2OL have pics of medium setting (1.25" above NRH)?

I've posted this before. Not the best angle but fastest way to get you an idea of heights.

Re: Suspension Lift Kit - WK2 4x4 Quadra-lift

Thanks BigCat. Are any of you aware if Llams kit would work together with front shorter links that will level the front? So for example, I install shorter front links, to level the front, then install Llams kit to raise 1.25" over NRH, then i have best of both worlds. Level front and slight lift, but not too extreme for daily driving and highway speeds.

It does on mine. I made my links .5" shorter on the front. This raised the front enough to level it out perfectly. Again though I can't comment on the 2016. I think the front links are slightly different. With the Llams kit and my links the front on MEDIUM is 1.75" of lift and the rear is 1.25" of lift. I also run 275/60/20 Nitto G2s with 1.25" Bora wheel spacer. I did some trimming of the fenders and the felt & bent the pinch weld back and have no issues. Tires are 32.9" tall and 10.83 inches wide.

Re: Suspension Lift Kit - WK2 4x4 Quadra-lift

ARWK2OL, that is perfect level! Looks good too. My Overland is at the dealership right now getting my 1.25" spacers and 6 month old 275/55/20 KO2's from my 14 laredo altitude i traded in swapped over.

I think i'll get the links from the guy on this forum and see if they work.

FYI for anyone who does read this thread. I did contact Graeme from Llams kit and he said it will work on a 2016. Not sure if i want to be the guinea pig, but maybe after the links and a few months of driving we'll see how bad if decide to go with the lift.

Thanks again everyone.

P.S. - I'll try to post some pics after the links are installed.

Re: Suspension Lift Kit - WK2 4x4 Quadra-lift
