Suspension Mods

Got my aggressive Road Magnet springs in. I was also told to get camber control arms? What parts would i need to put the control arms on?

Also, i was told to purchase Bilstein 4600's too ( but every site says they are on backorder). Are these essential for the aggressive springs? Will my stock springs blow out if i don't upgrade to them?

Re: Suspension Mods

There were a few of us that warned you that you would need these extra components going that low in your earlier post questions about lowering on these springs.

Talk with Chad at BlackOps. He'll get you squared away with the control arms. The shocks will deteriorate, maybe quickly, with such an aggressive drop. From what I've read on this forum, the rears go out rather quickly.

Your best bet would have been to wait until you get everything and then do the install. Now you will probably end up paying a bunch more to get the shocks & camber components installed. The Bilstein 4600s would be the ones to get, although there may be other alternatives out there. You should get those other components on sooner than later to avoid any long term damage to the rest of your suspension.
I bought my Bilsteins about a couple months ago in anticipation of picking up my RM Mids closer to Spring.

Post pics of how it sits now when you get a chance

Re: Suspension Mods

I didn't install the springs yet, they were just delivered is all. Im ordering the bilsteins as i write this. All i need to get are the rear control arms, so as you said ill just call Chad. Are sway bars/end links essential as well?

Re: Suspension Mods

I talked to a few shops that sell bilsteins yesterday and the 4600's are back ordered for around 2-3 months

So order them now if you want them for spring time
